the top of the search results.When your search results are displayed, the dashboard area at the side of the page shows Narrow Search links. You can select a link to filter your search results so that only certain titles are displayed. For example, you may be able to list only the DVDs from your search results. Follow these steps to narrow your search results.
1. With your search results displayed, look for the links under Narrow Search in the dashboard area at the side of the page.
The filter links are organized by category, such as Type of Material, Subject, and Author. You may need to scroll the page to see all the links.
: You can click the up or down arrow by Narrow Search to expand or collapse the entire list.
: You can click a category name to expand or collapse the list of links for the category.
: You can click More>> or <<Less to see more or fewer links in a particular category.
2. Click a link under a category to filter your search results by that link.
For example, you might click a Large Print link to see only the large print titles in your search results.
The search results page displays your filtered search results. At the top of the results, you see the filter you selected.
You can continue to click Narrow Search links to further filter your results. Each filter is displayed at the top of the search results.
3. To remove a
filter and display the results without the filter, click the delete
icon by the filter at
the top of the search results.
