Photographs in the Crandall Public Library Photograph Collection mostly pertain to the history of Glens Falls, although some photographs concern Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains. Glens Falls subjects include people, buildings, bridges, street scenes, transportation, businesses, industry, Hudson River, Feeder Dam, floods, fires, hotels, schools, houses, civic and cultural organizations, Crandall Public Library, music and theater. Many of the photographs published in the historical volume, Bridging the Years: Glens Falls, New York, 1763-1978, came from the Crandall Public Library Photograph Collection. There are sections in this collection concerning the Glens Falls Operetta Club, Crandall Public Library, and men inducted into the military during World War II by Selective Service.
